Peace with Chronic Pain

“M” came in feeling depressed and completely victimized by life.  She had been married and divorced 3 times and felt helpless and victimized by life, by men, and the world.

Furthermore, she had been suffering from chronic pain in her left shoulder for several  months, and had tried out many different kinds of treatments for her shoulder pain, however, nothing seemed to improve her pain and her inability to lift her arm.

During her sessions, with the help of breathing, relaxation and guided imagery, she was able to go back and recover the traumatic memories and events of her early childhood years.

From here, she was able to start bringing healing to her inner child, and make sense of how her childhood trauma had affected her decisions and choices throughout her life. She uncovered unconscious beliefs about her low self-worth that she had been carrying since very early on in her life.  “M” learned how her past had impacted her confidence, and affected the choices of men and relationships she had been in.

Eventually, she was able to find a much stronger sense of self, and was able to set new boundaries.  Her shoulder pain that she had been carrying around for months completely resolved itself, and she was free of pain and able to move her arm freely.
